MEET Lou, the designer INSIDE GoodHouse

After several years designing in Sydney, I moved to Queenstown and found myself drawn to its small-town feeling: the places with character, the people behind them, the sense of community that ties it all together. It reminded me how much I love design that's connected to real people.

That's why GoodHouse is a small studio by design. I work directly with my clients, taking the time to understand their business, the people they're speaking to, and what they want those people to feel.

A good house needs strong foundations before anything else.

So that's where I start, building the strategy that holds everything together. But it's the details that make a house feel like home: the small, considered touches that give a brand its warmth and its character.

With a background spanning hospitality, events and travel, I have seen first-hand how much those details shape the experience someone walks away with (and why they come back), and that's always been my favourite part of the work.

Getting to know what makes a business unique. Understanding who it's for. Finding what makes it special, and bringing that to the surface. That's the work I enjoy, and that's what GoodHouse is here to do.
